     Mae Fah Luang University invites persons with the following qualifications to fill our vacant academic posts.

  1. General Qualifications The applicant must/will:
    • Understand and acknowledge the university’s professional philosophy as a public autonomous institution, and be able to teach in the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels;
    • Be able to impart knowledge and ready to supervise graduate-level theses and doctoral dissertations;
    • Be ready to conduct research work immediately after being appointed a faculty member, with a minimum of three concretely designed research plans;
    • Be able to seek domestic and/or international research grants;
    • Possess English-language proficiency and computer literacy;
    • Be ready to work full time for the university;
    • Understand and acknowledge the university’s faculty appraisal system and contractual terms and conditions;
    • Understand, acknowledge and realise the importance of the quality assurance system adopted by the department;
    • Be subject to special consideration if s/he has three or more years’ experience after receiving the degree in a relevant academic or professional field;
    • Have earned minimum undergraduate and graduate GPAs of 3.00 and 3.50, respectively;
    • Have scored a minimum of 79 points on the TOEFL (IBT), 585 points on the TOEFL (ITP), 85 points on the CU-TEP or achieved band 6.5 on the IELTS;
    • Be subject to the qualification requirements stipulated in Mae Fah Luang University Regulations for Recruitment, Selection, Employment and Probation, BE 2550 (2007).

2. Japanese Program

4. Liberal Arts Studies Program
- Graduate with a PhD or Master's degree with passing grade on PhD qualifying examination in Creative industries, Cultural Economics, Cultural Studies, Art Management, Service Management and Design, Creative Arts, Curatorial Studies, Architecture, or other related fields.
-Good English communication, with English score obtained from one of the following standard tests. 
- Ability to use English as a medium of instruction. 
-  Experience in research, publication of research articles, consultancy or professional experience in any branch of the creative industry, a proven track record in managing creative industry exhibitions or international art fairs, involvement in activities related to the UNESCO Creative Cities Network, world heritage sites, intangible cultural heritage, or other relevant areas are recognized within academic and professional spheres. With such qualifications, your application will receive preferential consideration.

3 Science Lecturer

1. Applied Chemistry Program
- Graduate with a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry or a closely related field.
- Research focus on sensors fabrication and development.
- Skills in electronics.
- Good English communication, with English score obtained from one of the following standard tests. *
- An applicant who has at Postdoc experience will be an advantage (if any)

2. Mathematics Program
- Graduate with Doctoral degree in Statistics/Applied Statistics or Mathematics/Applied Mathematics

Has experience in research in the fields of Statistics, Data Sciences

3. Material Engineering Program

-  Has experience in research in the fields of Advanced and additive manufacturing processes, Surface treatment and fatigue of material, Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing

4 Nursing Lecturer

Ph.D in any of the following fields: 
Maternal and Newborn Nursing and Midwifery

5 Medicine Lecturer

1 . Epidemiology 
Educational Qualifications: Hold or pursuing a doctoral degree in epidemiology, public health science, clinical epidemiology, or other relevant scientific disciplines related to public health.
- Hold a bachelor''s degree in public health science, pharmacy, medical sciences, medical technology, radiologic technology, rehabilitation activities, physical therapy, or other related scientific disciplines, including conducting or in-progress thesis work in epidemiology, public health science, clinical epidemiology, or other related disciplines. 
 - Capable of teaching undergraduate courses related to biostatistics, epidemiology, statistical computing programs, sample size calculations, and medical research methodology. 
- Able to take responsibility for graduate-level curriculum at the School of Medicine.
2. Anatomy
- Doctoral degree in anatomy or the related field of health science. If the doctoral degree is not in anatomy, the applicants must graduate with the Master's degree in anatomy.
- Capable in teaching four core subjects in anatomy: Gross Anatomy, Neuroanatomy, Embryology, and Histology.
Applicants with postdoctoral research experience or at least one research publication (the paper must not be a partial fulfillment of any degree) will be given a special consideration

6 Health Science Lecturer

1. Sports and Health Science Program
- Graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Sports Science, or other related fields.
- Graduate with a Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Sports Science, Sports Management, or other related
 fields to the criterion 1. 
 - Good English communication, with English score obtained from one of the following standard tests
- An applicant who has at least 1 year of experience in working or teaching in Sports Science will be given a special consideration.

2. Public Health Program
- Graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Public Health or Medicine
- Graduate with a Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Public Health (Public Health Administration Major)

7 Social Innovation Lecturer

1. International Development Program

Graduated with a doctoral degree in cosmetic science or other related fields

- Able to contribute to the mission of the School and Program
- Be subject to special consideration if the applicant has experience in cosmetic entrepreneurial or research and development (R&D) in cosmetics

2. Creative Innovation in Cosmetic Science
- Graduate in Doctor of Philosophy Program in Pharmacy, or Cosmetic Science, or the related field of science. 
- Graduate in Doctor of Philosophy Program in Pharmacy, or Cosmetic Science, or the related field of science., or the related field of science with at least 2 years of working experience in the Research and Development of Cosmetic Products.  
- Ability to teach the courses related to cosmetic formulations, such as Cosmetic Raw Materials, Cosmetic Dosage Forms, Skin Care Product Development, and Hair and Nail Product Development, both lecture and laboratory, or the course related to Business Planning and Entrepreneurship in Cosmetics course for Undergraduate program Program in Cosmetic Science. 
- Ability to be responsible for Graduate programs Program in Creative Innovation in Cosmetic Science

11 Agro-Industry Lecturer

1. Food Science and Technology
- Graduated with a Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Food and Nutrition Science; Food, Nutrition and Health; Nutrition and Dietetics; Nutrition Science; Biomedical Science or other science-related fields
- Graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition Science; Food, Nutrition and Health; or other science-related fields
- Good English communication, with an English score obtained from one of the following standard tests
- An applicant who has at least 1 year of experience in working or teaching or post-doctoral abroad will be given special consideration
- Proficiency in Chinese, Burmese, or any other third language will be given priority consideration

13 School of Integrative Medicine Lecturer

1. Traditional Chinese Medicine
- Graduate with a Master’s degree or Doctoral Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine or related fields
- Bachelor’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine with GPAX at least 3.00
- Currently holds an active Traditional Chinese Medicine Doctor License
- Chinese Proficiency : HSK score at least 6 
- Good English communication, skills with an English score obtained from one of the following standard tests
Specialization
- Acupuncture and Moxibustion Or
- Traditional Chinese Medicine Pediatrics Or
- Traditional Chinese Medicine Orthopedics
Work Experience
- Past practical experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine or other related fields

2. Applied Thai Traditional Medicine
- Bachelor’s degree in Applied Traditional Thai Medicine (First-Class or SecondClass Honor)
- Doctoral Degree in Applied Thai Traditional Medicine or Anatomy or Physiology or related fields
- If applicant has at least 1 research publication (not a part of graduate thesis), the applicant will receive special consideration - English Proficiency (at least 1 of the following) TOEFL (ITP) score at least 585 / TOEFL (IBT) score at least 79 / CU-TEP score at least 85 / IELTS band at least 6.5 / Note : English proficiency score can be considered afterwards 

Professional Requirement
- Currently holds an active Applied Thai Traditional Medicine Doctor License
- Past practical experience in Thai Traditional Medicine practice or other related fields
- If applicant has past experience in practical work, research, or teaching Thai Massage, the applicant will receive special consideration

4. Required Application Documents 

  • 4.1. One 1-inch portrait photograph taken no more than 6 months earlier (without a hat or any decorative item and without sunglasses);
  • 4.2. A scanned copy of the degree certificate and academic transcript for every level of education, to verify that the applicant’s degree is relevant to the position applied for;
  • 4.3. A scanned copy of a valid English proficiency test result;
  • 4.4. A scanned copy of the house registration certificate;
  • 4.5. A scanned copy of the national ID card, a civil service card, etc;
  • 4.6. Scanned copies of other documents (if any), such as a marriage certificate, name change certificate, etc; and
  • 4.7. Other related documents, such as academic works, research studies,
  • certificates, etc.
  • Note: The applicant MUST submit all of the required documents; otherwise, the university reserves the right not to consider the application.

5. Selection Procedure

  • Stage One: 
    The university will consider the applicant’s academic degrees, academic records, relevant experience, academic achievements, research works and how closely the applicant’s field of expertise corresponds to the department’s needs. An applicant with a master’s degree will also be considered in terms of his/her Ph D pursuit potential.
  • Stage Two: 
    In case the applicant having passed stage one possesses no relevant experience, the Selection Committee will—if deemed necessary—require him/her to take a written academic test in the chosen field.
  • Stage Three: 
    Having passed stages one and two, the applicant will be interviewed, a process whereby appraisal of the applicant’s academic aptitude, professional attitude, special interests, 
    Documents to be presented on the day of the interview: 
    A letter of recommendation from the applicant’s advisor or superior, or a work certification letter from the applicant’s organisation (each in a sealed envelope), must be presented to the committee on the day of the interview.
  • Stage Four: 
    Having passed the first three stages, the applicant will be subject to a teaching demonstration, which will take place with a Teaching Assessment Committee in attendance. The teaching demonstration will be assessed in the following areas. 
    1. The ability to impart knowledge, which includes systematic lesson-planning, clear impartation of a subject matter and effective evaluation method; and
    2. The academic knowledge in the relevant field, profound understanding in the chosen discipline and potential to become a good scholar.

     The university reserves the right to shortlist and interview only the applicants whose qualifications meet the university’s needs.
